PROCRASTINATION.

*this picture has nothing and then everything to do with the blog. she is a big distraction, thus the procrastination!

right now, i am doing just that. procrastination. i can't stand the word, but it's pretty much me. i have two exams for uni this semester, one which is on monday (ugh) and then another on the 15th. i'm pretty chilled about the latter because it is so far away, i don't have to think about! but oh boy, monday's exam, well, it isn't looking pretty! that is why i am on the blog, trying to do desperately anything other than study. and i'm not one other those people, you know them, who are just naturally gifted and ace every exam!

the short note: i won't be back on the blog anytime soon. i really want to go well this semester, and it has become the best distraction. ever. i do understand that i am kind of learning here. i self edit (even if i get things wrong sometimes!!) and i try to write things that mean something to me, or at least think about doing that! for example, the amazing books i've read over the past couple of weeks that have impacted on my, or this amazing documentary i watched on how to be happy (i can't find the link, but will do soon - it is a must watch film), or the book i have just started to read (the book thief, fyi). it will happen one day, maybe when i'm a little bit more confident!

BABYSITTING TWO LITTLE TERRORS...I MEAN CUTIES.

i'm writing this whilst two little babes are fast asleep (well, one is. the other one...he likes to test the boundaries)! I feel pretty lucky, only because this rally happens and they usually take turns with sleeping times, so there is usually one making a muck! I was lucky enough today to babysit them, and even got to take them swimming - but in all honesty, two kids under three in the pool at the same time, that was hard! this blog post will be short and sweet because i'm scared that they'll wake up and i won't do what i want to do!

LITTLES...AGAIN.

i think we all know by now that i have a big obsession with my niece and nephews. i told you guys before that i am scared when they get older they'll think it's weird that i take sooo many photos of them, but i don't care (ok, i do - i want to be the 'cool' aunt! you know you do too!). it seems like everyday now, there is always a baby in my house (i ain't complaining, thank you distraction, but hello pile-of-uni-work-i-need-to-get-done), and well, they just have the cutest faces and do the funniest things - how can i not take a photo?!

william is his usual crazy self. he's favourite word at the moment is 'mine' or 'why', and when those words come together - it is a battle. but he is the sweetest boy. he always uses his manners (a must!) and always need to kiss, hug and high-five you when you leave (i don't get the high-five bit, but i roll with it.

edie pie, well she is very much like her mum. she has attitude up to her ears and loves to talk all the time. but she has the sweetest smile, and has started to hug you (i mean, come on, little hands trying to squeeze your face - soo adorable!).

nate is into everything. you cannot leave him alone for five seconds without him trying to stand on the edge of the fire place or he just gets into a draw. but he has the sweetest smile, and he never cries, he just puts on the saddest face with those puppy dog eyes, and i'm gone!

i'll try and get you an update for my other little guys, but they are either too big and hate the camera (jacob, why?! you are so cute with those dimples and those cheeky eyes!) or they live far away (lachie, tell mummy and daddy to move here now, they are too far away and i don't like it, not one bit)!
