#TBT.

^^^little will. he is technically the first nephew, so when he came along we would dress him up and take thousands of photos of him! i could honestly dedicated a blog to him for every week of his life! crazy crazy!^^^

as i've told you, we are preparing our house for sale. what comes with selling a house is the horrid before bit - the cleaning! rooms have been painted, curtains have been washed, destroyed and then new ones have been bought, and things are being sorted through. i think that is the best bit. you find things that you have forgotten about and then don't want to part with them, then remember that you forgot about for so long you clearly do not need that snuggle pot and cuddle pie placemat! ha ha, that is pretty much me for most of the part! but what i found was some old photos (i did find those placemats and they are now in the bin!), and i thought i share them - a bit of a 'throwback thursday' on the blog!

^^^my dear, sweet pop. he passed a few years ago, and though it has been hard on the family, it is wonderful to see new photos of him! he was such a happy guy, and though he got grumpy at us - not that often - he was the best kind of pop! my favourite story of him is when maddy and i were in a hardware store  with our nana and pop and maddy called him a 'grumpy old fart' under her breather and he heard! we were shocked, not because we got in trouble, but because we thought he couldn't hear well! we laugh so often over that story and many more! love you, pop.^^^

^^^classic nan and pop. he was never ready for a photo and she always did silly faces! i feel like i now know where the littlies got their cheek from!^^^

^^^this was in 2007! how little do maddy and i look! this is when i was so scared to talk to people that i just hung around my parents the whole night! my family in england were so loud and a lot older then maddy and i at the time, and i wasn't out going, just very shy!^^^

^^^the other littlies! as you can see maddy and i still dress them up and take a million or so photos of them! they are just so cute!^^^

i would also like to say that on tuesday it was my dad's birthday - so happy birthday old man! and it was my pop's birthday last friday - we love you pop, and wish you were here to play board games, laugh at the kids and give lots of love to nana.

EASTER WEEKEND.

here are some more photos from the easter weekend! i think i already mentioned it, but i totally love my family! it was a great day, but the traffic was so bad! the house that my parent's own is so beautiful, and the view is so amazing! the kids also love it because the garden goes on forever! i hope we all had a great weekend, i have been eating way too much chocolate that i am scared it could be gone by tomorrow!! i also went to an 18th party for my cousin! it was so cool, they had fake tattoos and laser tag - it was way better then mine thats for sure! my aunty also made the cake 'cakes by karyn' (which she did for mine!), and it was so good, i kind of wish i took some home ;-).  there is also something so cute that my cousin jemma did! she became the easter bunny at our house and went overboard with the hiding and the chocolate! she made a map of our house and put little easter bunny footprints to the chocolate! man oh man i love her! she is way too sweet!
*here are also some photos from my iphone.

^^^edie ate her first chocolate on easter! she just stood there in silence until all the chocolate was gone, and then high-fived her mum. it was a pretty awesome thing to watch a kid have their first chocolate, and now let the games begin -  hehe!^^^

^^^one of my favourite pictures from the day! i know that not all of us are looking at the camera, but what can you do when babies get distracted! when they are older i swear their will be a photo of them all smiling and looking at the camera - one day!^^^

HAPPY EASTER.

hope everyone has had or is having a happy easter! easter is a great time - not only for the chocolate ;-) - but the meaning behind it, of new beginnings and new life. i had a wonderful weekend with family; where we ate way too much, talked till our hearts content, and played with the littlies. it is wonderful to have to whole family together. my dad and step-mum with my little brother live in melbourne, and it is difficult to see them when there is uni, and work! but this weekend was just what we all needed. i kind of wish easter was every weekend, just so there is an excuse for us to get together.
we also went to mass in the morning. there were so many people there that we had to stand outside! luckily i could hear when it was time to sing, because i totally got my jam on ;-).

and though i might of said some silly things this weekend (like, do rabbits lay eggs - in my defense i knew they didn't but i was confused by a picture), i think it was a great weekend - and bonus because the weekends have been so busy and you get to see every family member from each side!

these photos are taken with my iphone. i have currently misplaced my camera, and to be honest, i have eaten way too much to get up (my sister made a vegan cheesecake - i ate that, with chocolate and then lots of salad. our food theme was also mexican - omg, amazing!).

look at the food! my step-mum knows how to do a good spread! i would also like to say that the flowers are hand picked from the backyard! how gorgeous are they?! their house is so beautiful, and the backyard is even better – the view is amazing and there is even a little cubby house for the kids!

WEDDING PART 1.

saturday was a beautiful day. i feared that it would rain or be ridiculously cold, but it was a lovely day. weddings are an amazing thing to have and be apart of, but the marriage is the most important thing to do. what our family witnessed was something truly beautiful. the love between hannah and matt shines, and it shines even more because they are expecting a baby boy in eight weeks. the amount of love i and the rest of our family has for these two, young couple is seen through the photos. congratulations to the beautiful couple. you are the reason that i now want to be married and have children (not anytime soon, but you know, the way, way future). love you, hannah and matt.

^^^these are taken before the wedding. i can tell because 1. i hadn't drunk yet, ;-) but 2. my eyes are not blood shot from crying! maddy and i had the theme of flowers and my beautiful cousin looks great in a lbd. if only i had her figure...and hair^^^

^^^getting the family together means a lot of family photos! i love the first photo as my brother hardly smiles in photos and secondly, nate and him look so alike! it is amazing how nate is a little michael (well, what i see from the photos)!^^^

^^^babies, babies, babies. they are the most adorable bunch of kids, who love the camera, love each other and we love them! i cannot wait for when they grow into little kids, then mature people (jokes, stay this little, this age forever).^^^

^^^matthew's face. you can see the love, anxiousness and absolute joy in his face. he really is the best kind of cousin, and will be the best kind of husband and father. hannah, she looked, words cannot describe how she looked. she is radiant inside and out, and i can tell that she will the best mother to her unborn son and the best wife to matt. they have married out of love, and not out of need. marriage is one way to show love, but another is through children. they have been lucky to show both on one, amazing day.^^^

IT'S ONLY THURSDAY?!

the title pretty much explains my mood. i feel like this week has gone so slow, that on tuesday i thought it was thursday. so you can imagine my surprise now where it is only thursday and no weekend?! even with the slow week i've been pretty busy. again, i have an awesome group to work with for an assignment (i'm even meeting a friend for lunch today to do some of the assignment, or maybe just talk - a bit of both). one of my university courses in on theology, and for our major assignment (40% worth assignment!) we have to discuss a passage in the bible. i grew up in catholic schools, and i go to mass when i can, but i have never read the bible! so when reading the allocated texts, i find it really fascinating the things that were written, and how my teachers are pushing for us to remember to not take things literally from the bible. i love that. i can't explain why telling people to not take things so seriously is awesome, but it pretty much is a life motto don't you think?!

as it is thursday and the weekend is slowly approaching (woohoo), i'm giving the heads up that uni is demanding and weekend with family is very important. particularly this weekend as one of my beloved cousins is getting married! i say family, eating and drinking are just what the doctor ordered!

onto the house front; i have cleaned a space for my shoes - ha ha, putting things in boxes that are labelled 'garage sale' and chucked a whole pile of stuff out that i have kept for years! it's like spring cleaning, but serious.
enjoy your weekend, and remember, don't sweat the small stuff! p.s. i was looking back at old photos from vietnam, and oh how i miss it! even the not so funny parts, like when maddy and i went kayaking even though we have no idea how too, and we we just kept on going in circles! or when mum was supporting the trend of the vietnamese with the blue rain coat - she is only allowed to do that it vietnam! and when we asked david to take a photo of us and my eyes were closed and there is a man in the background - remind me to never get him to take photos again - ha ha! miss you, nam.

LAST WEEKEND.

i hope you all had a fabulous weekend. don't ask me what i did, it was boring and i was very unproductive (shocker there). here are a few photos from last weekend. the family got together for lunch and it was such a nice day! the kids are obsessed with outside, and i don't blame them - it will be cold soon, which means that it will be way too cold for them (and us!!) to go outside! i hope you all had a lovely weekend, and did what i said in my last post! the next time i write i will hopefully do something amazing, maybe go outside ;-), or cure a disease, you just never know (ok, with that one you do).

^^^the boys (minus little lachie). will loves jacob, and nate loves jacob. everyone pretty much loves jacob, and i don't blame them.^^^

p.s. i would like everyone to know that at the particular moment of writing this blog - 11pm, i'm old this is too late, my beautiful cousin was just playing the guitar for me. she is so talented, i wish i had the gene.
