they are here, and so is easter!

so, my dad and step-mum, along with my youngest-most-awesomest little brother, xavier, live in melbourne. and since it is the easter long weekend (and for xavier, his holidays too- so jealous), they have come up and we are celebrating! a tradition in our family is to have a 'so you think you can dance'. every year we try and do this, but sometimes it is hard to have all the fambam together in one place for a period of dancing! however, my sisters and step-mum are awesome and we are having easter lunch/dinner/dance-off at a house in which we can continue our awesome tradition. and, i cannot think of a better way to celebrate the easter long weekend, as well as easter, with family! i have a few tricks up my sleeve when it comes to the egg and spoon race, and mark my words, i am taking the family down, even if i push over a almost 3-year-old ;-). however, i still have a lot of assignments due, but how can i focus on mathematical equations and science experiments when there are babies and brothers everywhere?! no - you just can't. and they is why i am procrastinating here, and writing a short novel, here, so i don't have to do my 249586 things to do on my list. and i don't know about you, but i am kind of liking this procrastination! though, all good things must come to an end. for example, the excuse for eating chocolate eggs all day, everyday with vanish as easter will be over and no one will be giving or buying them :-(. but, lets not leave on a sad note, lets end on a high, with the cutest pictures that i have taken, not to brag ;-), of just some of my awesome family.
happy easter, everyone! do something good over the weekend, even if is is listen to a hundredth story from your great-aunty-lisa's-pop's-daughter.

family!

so, as promised, here are some photo's over the weekend.
i love family. don't you ever get that sensation that you have to tell people that you love them? i do. and it doesn't matter if i have been drinking or not, i have to tell the truth. for example, only this weekend i told my older brother that i loved him, unfortunately, he thought i was drunk - but i wasn't,  just overwhelmed with how much i loved my family! and i cannot wait for the day when i get that feeling for someone, and they for me - he he. ;-)
i will stop now, before i say something really stupid and embarrass myself - in true georgie fashion.
oh, and happy birthday, hannah! i have a sneaking suspicion that you'll be in our life for ever! yah!

happy monday!

hope you all are having or are going to have a happy monday. usually the custom is happy friday, but you are already happy during the day, you don't need any more cheering up, it's friday!
i have been super busy with university today. catching up on readings and homework. and, i am proud that i actually enjoyed doing it, well some. science, you were never my forte.
for me, completing work needs to written on a list with squares for me to tick! i do not feel accomplished until i have ticked every box! it is something that maddy and i completely agree on. and having been doing so since for ever! if you want something done, list it. it may be daunting that all your incomplete work is on one page or several pages, but once they are marked off you have this tangible evidence that all is done and all is well!!
however, having a little munchkin can be very distracting. as you can see from here, here and here.
but...he is such a cute distraction!

little bit of this & that.

i am in love with my new nephew and niece. i cannot not kiss them, and take photo's of kissing them.

then, william just comes up and is all cute and jumping around, well, i've got to get photos of that!

we also won our netball indoor grand final! i love playing netball, and winning is just the cherry on top. but, i did hurt my finger, and even now it hurts to tip :-(. but, i'll pull through...i hope ;-). 

oh, and i took photo's of maddy jumping up and down. he he. as well as coming home on a friday after looking after kindergarten, she left me a note and chocolate. it was so cute, love you maddy. even though you didn't buy me anything from the shops...you can make up for it.

he doesn't wear pants. he comes to the house and takes off his shoes, socks and pants. it's cute, but not on cold days, silly billy! xo

over the weekend...

weekends are the time to hang out with family and to enjoy ones company. and that is exactly what i did. friday night was spent cooking with my sister lauren, and her family-in-laws. i don't know how they do it, but i always feel included and loved, even in awkward situations - and due to this family, there are so many of them! though, i won't bore you will detail of their funny life experiences, but i can tell you, they are hoot! and, can my sister cook, or can she cook?! (she can cook by the way (-; ).

what can we say, we love our facial expressions.

is it bad to say that saturday was a blur?! i mean, i wasn't drinking, but it is my day where i relax and chill - though shouldn't! (naughty georgie). but, sometimes life is so crazy, with family and university, that i enjoy the time where i watch dramatic t.v. shows, and eat junk food, again, naughty georgie.

aren't i hopeless!

 i feel bad that i haven't written on this blog for a long time! i have been super busy with uni and family, that i put them ahead of many things - this being one of them! i am trying to trace back to what has happened these past couple of weeks....

well, i remember that uni has been fun and exciting as well as time consuming. my sister, maddy, might not agree that i have a tough life - considering she has to wake up 530am most days - but my is hard too (you got that maddy!)! i go to uni 3 days a week and . . . going to my first practical experience tomorrow. it is a school that i have never been too, and is 20 minutes from my house, which is a bonus. i am nervous and intimidated at the same time. i want to make a really go impression, but also want to be myself! there is another student from my uni who is going to the same school, so if all else fails, at least i have a friend!

i did Clean Up Australia Day! i love cleaning, but cleaning a whole park was hard - but very rewarding! i had good karma for a while, i'm telling you!

i am loving thursday at the moment. it is the day that my sister lauren comes over, which includes edie bear, as well as every second thursday when my brother and his girlfriend come over, which includes nate! so, i hang out with them and play. though my step-dad is always telling me to go back to work, but look at them, how can i?

our family also likes to leave cute things for maddy...but not for me.... hint hint nudge nudge family. this photo made me laugh so hard, i cried! sometimes you just have to lift a girls spirit up, and our family uses funny photos.

my TomTom tried to kill me on wednesday. it is fair to say that we are not speaking terms at the moment. but, i am going to have to use him tomorrow. between us, i wish i didn't have too!

i cleaned my car, and edie and i took slefies. i hate cleaning my car. :-(

what has been happening!

here are the photos i promised the other day! is it odd that i still cannot believe my little brother is 9! He'll be turning the big 1 0, and then i'll cry! but, if he tells me that i have to dress up next year, it isn't going to happen, i'll wear normal clothes now.

university has also happened this week, well 3 days anyway. it has been crazy. i have to wake up early and then i don't get home till 9.30 at night! but, it has been so fun and i am meeting new people everyday. in the profession that i am in, i have to be confident and speak to people everyday, which is complete different to what i am usually use to (which means i sit in the back and put up my hand a couple of times). my first day was funny, and exciting. mostly because is met a famous mexican actor and singer who was touring australia! i cannot remember his name at the moment, but i shall look it up, and get back to you!

in other news, maddy started her university orientation today and i have to be honest, i am freaked out for her! she has to go into the city, well, further then me, and that means a car ride, a train ride, and a bus ride, oh, and a walk! that is ridiculous! but, i love her so much, and have so much faith in her. her profession is a nurse and i wish i had the courage to take care of people the way she will! mostly because i cannot deal with blood, and, well, neither can she, well, her own blood that is ;-). good luck today, my little sissy. you'll be great and cannot wait to call you in 3 years time and ask why my foot is hurting!
