recently, maddy and my sister julia went to the funky
place of newtown. this place is full of cool, hipster people, who can pull off
any piece of clothing and hair-colour (i saw yellow hair colours, it must be in
style?!) and make it work. newtown has the most amazing shops - either food or
clothes, though they are ridiculously expensive, so maddy and i windowed
shopped (which i didn't mind, mostly because who can be bothered to try on
clothes?!) . the places are just amazing to look at, for example, the bookstores
- all i want to do is sit in them and just read ever book! we also went to
lunch at a vegan restaurant 'iku'.
it was amazing, ridiculously amazing. we also shopped at 'the cruelty free shop', which sells vegan
and cruelty free products (and delivers - bonus!).
it was a lovely day, and cannot wait to actually shop
with all of my sisters soon - that is going to be really hard to do,
even impossible ;-)! it is so nice to do something that you cannot do on a
normal day, however, i believe (and maddy would agree) that we need to wear
better shoes, because at the end of the day we had to trade shoes and sit down!
