i had only ever been to one baby shower,
when i was 15, and i thought it was stupid. we bought the woman a joke present
for her unborn babe, and everyone loved it because they thought we were being serious. i thought it was a hoot! but, now that i am a mature adult - ;-) - i love
them. mostly because it is a time for women to get together and gossip about
babies, husbands, and other womanly things. my lovely sister, alex, is having a
baby – due early june – and she doesn’t live close by (why?!?!). so, she came down for a
weekend and got all of her girlfriends together and celebrated this awesome
event! my sisters and i went a little crazy buying her presents. i mean, they
can’t expect us to not go crazy and want to buy every new born thing at the
shops. giving lots of love to my sissy and cannot wait to meet the little babe
(she isn’t telling anyone what she is having – but i have my suspicions). i love you very much! oh, and thanks coffee club for hosting it, i love your pancakes and eggs. and i am pretty sure my fambam did too!

william, turned 3 on the weekend!
he is getting so big, i keep on saying ‘i can’t believe his is 3’, my family is
kind of annoyed with me saying that all the time! i love you little man, you have
no idea!
